Beneath A Tree (BAT) is a multi-genre ensemble led by violinist Gail Hernández Rosa and bassist Daniel Turkos, exploring the vibrant connections between baroque music and global folk traditions. Founded in Philadelphia in 2017 and now based in Northern California, BAT brings period instruments, folk traditions, improvisation, and storytelling into an engaging musical dialogue.
